ALŽBĚTA KUBCOVÁ
Hello, my name is Alžběta Kubcová and I teach Czech language for foreigners at the Anglofoní základní škola, and I also work here as a special pedagogue (I teach children with special educational needs).
Although I first studied economics at the University of Economics in Prague, and for a short time worked in the economics department at Charles University and also in the media as an editor and head of the editorial office of regional newspapers, the majority of my practice is in the field of education. At the second university, I graduated with a master's degree in elementary school teaching and special pedagogy. I have already taught at several elementary, secondary and also high schools in Prague, and for several years I am also involved in the continuing education of teaching staff (DVPP) and the Czech curriculum for elementary education (MŠMT).
In my classes, I like to use a lot of different educational methods and tools, such as games and songs on the computer, smart boards and various educational applications, which the children really enjoy, and they can continue to practice Czech in the afternoon and at home. The rules of our class, which we created with the children at the Anglofonní základní škole, are very simple: 1. we speak Czech, 2. we listen to each other, 3. we take care of - the class, our school things and each other, and 4. we smile, because learning it is sweet as …. for example a gummy bear! :-)

ISEL AGUILAR
¡Hola! My name is Isel Aguilar, originally from Mexico an EFL teacher. I've had the incredible opportunity to call Czech republic my home for the past four years. Upon moving to Prague, I transitioned into teaching Spanish to foreigners. Over the years, I've had the privilege of working with students from diverse backgrounds, each with their own motivations for learning Spanish.
As an educator, my love for teaching Spanish to foreigners stems from the belief that there's something magical about breaking down linguistic barriers and opening doors to new worlds. At Anglofonni, I strive to create an immersive and supportive learning atmosphere where students can not only acquire language skills but also gain a deeper understanding of Spanish-speaking cultures.
